Jake Nyberg is a writer and director based in Minneapolis. In early May he decided to turn his mop into a mullet and go undercover to experience the plight of mulleted-Americans. The experiment has proven fruitful, if painful, and is being chronicled at mulletlikeme.com. He is currently raising money to buy a Camaro that he will donate to Goodwill after the mullet comes off. Jake's next project will be a web comedy series set in a used car dealership.
• Where did the idea to rock a mullet come from?
• You speak of 'Mulletism' – What is that?
• Looking back, was there a time in your life when you would have considered yourself as a 'mulletist?'
• It's obvious this started as a joke... Has it ever started to actually bother you when people make fun of your mullet?
• Is there a special someone in your life? What do they think of your mullet?
• Take us through a typical 'Mullet Mission.'
• Do you have a favorite mission so far?
• How long do you think you will keep this going?
• Tell us about the Camaro Pledge Drive...
