Hey, college dudes! We know that you’re into duct tape. We’ve seen some of the wild and wacky stuff that you do with “The Ultimate Power Tool” in your dorm rooms. Let’s face it, there is absolutely nothing that duct tape can’t fix... including those lame dorm rooms they stick you in.

So, let’s see what you’ve done with duct tape to customize your dorm room. Send us photos with letter, or a video tape giving us the grand visual and audio tour of your prize-winning dorm room. The deadline is March 28th, 2002. We will judge the entries based on the most extreme and creative use of duct tape and pick one guy’s room and one gal’s room in any United States college campus. Winners will be notified and posted on our web site April 15th, 2002.

Fabulous prize package: Two winners* (one guy's room, one gal's room) will each win (to share with your roommate) a case of Duck® brand duct tape, two sets of all five of our books and video tape, two Duct Tape Pro caps, four Duct Tape Pro / Carpe Ductem mugs, two Duct Tape Pro pins, two 2002 Duct Tape Dorm Contest Winner t-shirts, lunch for four with the Duct Tape Guys at your favorite pizza restaurant, AND an evening performance of The Duct Tape Guys Duct Tape 101 (stand-up comedy) for your college campus. Your dorm room will be toured and professionally video taped (you'll get two copies) for our web site and possibly an upcoming television show. Four runners-up will also win honorable mention prize packages.

So, get out your cameras and send us your proof that YOU
have the coolest duct tape dorm room in America!
